Inspired by women's fashion and cosmetics, my advertisement agency reflects the "edgy and vogue woman". Praxis focuses on sharp edges and folding shapes as a literal indication of edginess. By isolating what I believed was the "heart" of the agency, I was able to create little "jewel" spaces for the Creative and Media departments. These spaces are critical in providing angled and edgy circulation throughout the space. My mood/inspiration board influenced my decision to use bright blue and purple throughout the space, which really gave a strong, powerful woman touch. The building was designed to be sustainable by the use of sustainable materials, skylight, operable windows, green roof, solar panels, grey water in the bathrooms, and sensored lighting.
